The Cast
Taron Egerton reprises his role as Eggsy Unwin, the young streetwise recruit who was trained to become a Kingsman agent in the first film. Joining him are Mark Strong as Merlin, Colin Firth as Harry Hart, and Edward Holcroft as Charlie Hesketh. New to the cast are Halle Berry as Ginger Ale, Channing Tatum as Tequila, and Jeff Bridges as Champagne. Pedro Pascal and Julianne Moore also appear in supporting roles.
The Crew
Matthew Vaughn returned to direct the sequel, which he also co-wrote with Jane Goldman. Mark Millar and Dave Gibbons, the creators of the original Kingsman comic book series, also served as executive producers. The film was shot on location in the United Kingdom, Italy, and the United States.
The Story
In The Golden Circle, the Kingsman organization is destroyed by a mysterious enemy. Eggsy and his fellow agents must team up with their American counterparts, Statesman, to find the mastermind behind the attack and stop them before they can launch a global war.
The Release
The Golden Circle was released in theaters on September 22, 2017. The film received generally positive reviews from critics and was a box office success, grossing over $414 million worldwide.
